We are interested in building partnerships.  This site, which is a platform to bring homeowners and guests together, is presented as an opportunity for homeowners to control and manage their own properties. Like many vacation rental owners, we worked with the large online marketing sites for several years. We enjoyed that experience because it seemed as if all parties benefited. But that has all changed. Though we are sure that some homeowners are satisfied with the new business models, like that of VRBO , there are many of us who are not.  That’s where this website comes into play. If you are a vacation rental homeowner who wants to be in control of your property and who wants to connect with your guests and who wants to offer your renters a fair deal, then join us!

By listing with us, you set your own pricing levels.  You can interact with your guests before booking. And, they can do the same so that they are clearly certain of their choice. You can also set your own policies. Whether that is progress payments or damage refunds or length of stay or whatever. Clearly the homeowners make the biggest difference in the experiences of their guests. From having a home that includes all of the necessary amenities to the maintenance of the property to the transparency between guests and homeowners, that’s what makes the vacation experience great for all.

Some national online companies argue that by renting through them our guests can avoid the scams and fraudulent activities that has been rising in the industry. Goodness, these companies have no way of providing any security for our guests on that score.  They do not know us and they do not know our homes. Yet they claim to protect the traveler. We homeowners must be able to overcome that fear instilled by these companies.  That’s why we are working with Fireball Approves to assure our guests that these properties exist and that our homeowners are for real.  At Fireball Approves (an independent 3rd party), the homeowner submits credentials to become certified. The travelers can contact Fireball Approves to validate the owner and the property and to feel secure that their financial commitment is safe. Therefore, one requirement that we have for our homeowners is that they become certified by Fireball Approves. It helps us live up to our goal of transparency.
